STEVE BAILEY

Born and raised in Charleston, Steve is a lifelong resident of The Holy City.

Tracing his roots back to the earliest settlers of Charles Town, the passion and love for his hometown show in his enthusiasm and pride in delivering this historic city.

As the youngest of 5 boys and a lifelong businessman as well as community involvement in many areas, it's hard to walk around with Steve without folks speaking directly to him, and of course, the occasional friendly beep of a car horn!

As a registered and certified tour guide, you are sure to learn many points of history, enjoy the unique architecture and the friendly feel of this charming Southern city he calls home, Charleston.

Come enjoy a two-hour history tour with a true Charleston Insider as you explore the only English walled city in North America and explore the quaint and quiet streets and many tucked away alleys and some of the hidden gems that make this city the charming and special place that it is.

KAY ABRAMS

Hello! I would love to bring to life the history, architecture, and personality that make me love Charleston.

My love of teaching, history, and meeting new people are the perfect combination to lead you on a unique tour through Charleston and share our important and entertaining history. Whether you are interested in our centuries of gorgeous architecture, our significant political and military history, or the compelling stories of the residents of Low Country plantations, my goal is to keep you interested and engaged during your entire tour!

I have a Master's Degree in Education, and I am an AMI-certified Montessori teacher. I am also a Certified Guide for the City of Charleston, a member of the Palmetto Guild and the Charleston Tour Association. I love customizing my tours from eight-year-olds to octogenarians, so everyone has a good time!

I live in picturesque Mt. Pleasant, just across the Cooper River, with my husband, two teenage children, two easy-going labradors, and our speedy cat. If you plan a trip to visit Charleston, let me show you why so many people fall in love with this charming city. I did years ago on my first visit, and I do again every time I share its wonders with others.
